INTRODUCTION

 Hi everyone!

we want to show you some of the most beautiful places to visit in Perlis, Malaysia, for those who love nature and scenic views. Perlis has several amazing attractions, including Ladang Kenaf, Bukit Chabang, Timah Tasoh Lake, and many more.

In this blog, we will share three must-visit destinations in Perlis that you shouldn’t miss!

Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia. Perlis is located in the north of peninsular Malaysia and borders Thailand in the north and Kedah in the south. Originally, Perlis was part of the Kedah Sultanate. but, after the Siamese conquest of Kedah in 1821, Perlis was separated and made a separate state by the Siamese government. in 1843, syed hussein jamalullail was appointed as the first king of perlis, marking the beginning of the jamalullail dynasty that continues to this day.

Throughout this history, Perlis has gone through various phases of government, including under the rule of Siamese, British, and Japanese during the Second World War. After the end of the war, Perlis returned under British administration before becoming part of the independent Malayan federation in 1957, and then Malaysia in 1963.

Although Perlis is the smallest state in Malaysia, it is rich in culture and tradition, including traditional dances such as Cangung and Terinai.

In terms of food, Perlis is famous for Laksa Perlis, Pekasam Puyu, and grilled fish from Kuala Perlis.

Additionally, the economy of Perlis relies heavily on agriculture, especially rice cultivation, due to its fertile soil. Fishing is also an important sector, particularly in the Kuala Perlis area.

Perlis has its own unique charm, with a peaceful village atmosphere, stunning natural beauty, and warm, friendly people.
